Sarala Birla Academy hosted its maiden interschool

and western group song, fusion and western dance,
English and Hindi poetry recitation, Bone of Contention,
the English debate, Inquisitive, the English quiz,

It
was an interschool competition with a difference.

talents and help in holistic development.

All
the participants were at their best. There was
a healthy competition among the participating
schools. The host school was not in the running
for the best school trophy, but they did participate
in all the events and won some events. The Bishop
Cotton Boys' School won the best school trophy
in the junior category.
The senior events were held on 23 August 2007.
There was neck-to-neck competition in most of
the events and some amazing performances by all
the student participants. But there had to be
a winner and the winner for the best school in
the senior category was the Bishop Cotton Girls'
School.
There was a trophy for overall best school and
the trophy was won by the Bishop Cotton Boys'
School.
The guests shared their views of Impressions 2007
during the prize distribution ceremony and each
one of them had something good to say about the
event. Every one appreciated the way it was organised,
the campus, the host students' courteousness and
helpful nature and the guests were made to feel
at home.

As
Principal Radhika Sinha put it, "We exude
a kind of warmth which makes every guest feel
he/she is special." Rev. Father Thomas, Principal
of Christ College appreciated the way SBA has
grown in just three years and is able to host
an interschool meet, which is a great accomplishment
in itself.
This two-day long cultural extravaganza came to
an end with everyone carrying their own special
impression of the event to be cherished till we
meet again for Impressions 2008!
